District Governor Grile has been doing a lot of travels through our beautiful district and just has about 17 more clubs to go, and unfortunately is having to halt for the rest of year to deal with a health issue that is correctable and while he was hoping to be back on the road in January, it looks like the surgery is in January.  Just take it easy Bill till then and PDG Dell Gray will be filling in on some visits to help as Vice and we give Bill our prayers for a speedy recovery.

Annual Meeting is our next meeting, December 19th, and we have a couple of office positions that will be up to the vote and this meeting is a mandatory one for attendance.  The following Board positions are: Club President 2020-21, Club President 2021-22, Club Director position 1 (2019-2021), Club Director position 2 (2019-2021).  If you're interested or have any questions please contact President Kelly.  We are also forming a Club Foundation and will be needing volunteers as trustees, of which they cannot be serving on the Executive Board as Directors at the same time, if you are interested, please contact PE Eric.

The Bear Creek Park Playground Rebuild is complete and the ribbon cutting will be held this Saturday at 11:00am and it is going to be great to see this thing all completed after many delays with missing parts.  Amazing community we live in since over 1,100 volunteers participated to help get this project where it is today.  Great job to everyone that volunteered!

Toys for Tots is in the final stage and getting ready for the distribution at the Mazda dealership this Saturday.  Volunteers are still needed at this time and please check with Debbie who has been amazing as our liaison with this long running program.  A few of us worked last Saturday sorting the items to the age groups and was amazed at the toys already gathered by then.

The Rotary Club of Rogue Valley After Five, chartered in May 2009, was created by young professionals with the goal of serving the needs of our local and global communities through Rotary service. Now with nearly 40 members, we're excited about continuing to make an important impact on our community and the world.

Our meeting location is at Jackson Creek Pizza in the heart of MetroMedford. We welcome you to stop by after work and relax during happy hour for some fellowship with us! We would love for you to join us at one of our monthly volunteer projects too!
